Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban's spokesperson, announced that Hidayatullah Badri, the former acting governor of the Central Bank, has been appointed as the acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, and Shahabuddin Delawar has been appointed as the acting head of the Red Crescent.
According to Tarz Press, Mujahid wrote on X, formerly called Twitter, on Saturday, July 6, that these appointments were made based on a decree by Hibatullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Taliban. He added that Matiulhaq Khalis, the former acting head of the Red Crescent, has been appointed as the acting head of the Environmental Protection Agency, and Noor Ahmad Agha has been appointed as the acting governor of the Central Bank.
Additionally, Hibatullah Akhundzada has appointed Hariz Aziz Rahman, the former acting head of the Environmental Protection Agency, as the deputy head of the Red Crescent.
