Following the deaths of six Israeli hostages in Gaza, U.S. lawmakers and senators have called for an urgent agreement between Israel and Hamas for a ceasefire in Gaza.
Tarz Press – The bodies of six Israeli hostages were discovered on Sunday in an underground tunnel in Gaza, reportedly killed by Hamas before Israeli forces could reach them. This incident has sparked widespread reactions in Israel and the United States. For two consecutive days, protests have been ongoing in Israel against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Protesters hold Netanyahu responsible for the deaths of the Israeli hostages and are demanding the immediate release of the remaining captives.
Meanwhile, Lindsey Graham, a Republican senator from the United States, has a different view and is calling for increased pressure on the Iranian government, which is seen as the main supporter of the Palestinian group Hamas. Graham told ABC News that the United States and Israel should hold Iran accountable for the fate of the remaining hostages, stating: "Put on the target list oil refineries in Iran if the hostages are not released."
