Following claims by Pakistani officials about armed attacks by the "TTP" from Afghan soil, the country's Interior Minister has stated that Pakistan has been greatly affected by these "terrorist" attacks.
Tarz Press: Syed Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan's Interior Minister, made these remarks on Wednesday, August 28, during a meeting with a UN delegation in Islamabad, emphasizing that Pakistan has suffered significant harm due to the infiltration of "terrorists" into its territory. The Interior Minister told the UN delegation that "terrorists" are using Afghan soil to launch attacks against Pakistan, which must be stopped as soon as possible.
Two days earlier, Pakistan's Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, also said that the organization of attacks by the Pakistani Taliban, TTP, from Afghan soil is no longer a hidden secret. This comes as armed militants have recently intensified their attacks against Pakistani forces, with approximately 60 Pakistani military personnel killed last week by militants, including the TTP and Baloch separatists.
Meanwhile, the Taliban's Chief of Staff, Fasihuddin Fasih, said at a press conference on Wednesday that no one could prove the presence of the Pakistani Taliban, TTP, on Afghan soil. He added that the TTP plans its attacks from within Pakistan itself and maintains visible bases in Pakistan.
