Hillary Clinton, the former U.S. Secretary of State and a leading Democrat, has issued a strong condemnation of the Taliban's latest law on "propagating virtue and preventing vice," calling on the world to stand up against their extremist measures.
Tarz Press: On August 28, in a post shared on her X account, Hillary Clinton questioned, "Do you want to see where crackpot fundamentalism leads?" She continued, "Look no further than the Taliban’s new law prohibiting women from speaking outside of their homes." Clinton further urged, "The world needs to speak out against this latest abomination."
Last week, the Taliban enforced a new set of "propagating virtue and preventing vice" laws approved by their leader, Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada. These laws mandate that women must cover their entire bodies, including their faces, in public at all times, and wear thick clothing to prevent men from being tempted into sin. Women's voices are also deemed potential instruments of sin, and under these new restrictions, they are banned from being heard in public. The law even prohibits women from singing loudly within their homes.
Sources have informed Tarz Press that the enforcement of this law has already begun on the streets of Kabul, with women who do not comply being stopped, questioned, and removed from vehicles.
