The German Foreign Ministry has issued a strong criticism of the Taliban's "Virtue and Vice" law, stating that "there can be no relations with radical Islamists."

Tarz Press: Annalena Baerbock, the German Foreign Minister, sent a harsh message to the Taliban this afternoon, August 23, describing the Taliban's virtue law as "almost 100 pages of hatred towards women." This message, published on Baerbock's official X page, contains severe criticism directed at the Taliban. She also stated that "the Taliban’s so-called Virtue and Vice law seeks to silence half the country." According to Baerbock, this law imposes regulations that deprive women in Afghanistan of their dignity, rights, and voices. She wrote, "It underscores again that there can be no relations with radical Islamists."

The German Foreign Minister had previously sent an important message to the Taliban on the occasion of the third anniversary of their rule, stating that integration with the international community is impossible without respecting the human rights of the Afghan people and women. However, as it appears, the Taliban have not taken these warnings from foreign countries seriously.
