Five Religious School Students and Their Teacher Killed in Nangarhar Explosion

Sources in Nangarhar have informed Tarz Press that an explosion in the province has resulted in the deaths of five young children who were students at a religious school (a.k.a madrasa), along with their teacher.

Tarz Press: The Taliban police spokesperson in Nangarhar confirmed the incident, stating that the explosion was caused by a roadside mine and occurred in the Shamil area of the province. The spokesperson added that the children were originally from Nuristan province and were traveling to the Dar-e-Noor district when they encountered the roadside mine. While the spokesperson identified the five children as students of the religious school (madrasa), no further details were provided about the identity of the sixth victim.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
