Afghanistan 2-0 Kyrgyzstan: Lions of Khorasan Start Their Journey with Victory

The Afghanistan U-17 national football team secured a 2-0 victory against Kyrgyzstan today, Monday, August 19, in their first match of the Central Asia Championship, earning them three valuable points.

Tarz Press: In this match, Arash Ahmadi scored in the 6th minute, and Yasser Safi added another goal in the 43rd minute for Afghanistan. The first half saw Elias Manouchehr's team performing significantly better than Kyrgyzstan. The Red Stars not only scored two goals but also created several other dangerous chances, which, due to inaccuracy, did not convert into goals. In the second half, the Afghan U-17 team took a defensive stance and played conservatively. Yasser Safi, the young star of the Afghan national team, was named the best player of the match.
It is noteworthy that Afghanistan's second group stage match will take place this Wednesday against the host team, Tajikistan.
