She indirectly clarified her country's stance on recognizing the Taliban, saying, As long as the Taliban do not fulfill their international commitments, their integration into the global community is impossible.
The German Foreign Minister also expressed that her country stands by Afghan women and girls, and if needed, will support them through immediate aid and intensify efforts to protect human rights in Afghanistan.
It is worth noting that yesterday, August 14, marked three years since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan. During this period, the Taliban have imposed numerous restrictions on Afghan women and girls. According to a recent report by UNESCO, 1.4 million girls have been deprived of education during the Taliban's three years in power.
