Sirajuddin Haqqani, the Taliban's Minister of Interior, claims that there have been no violations of Mullah Hibatullah's amnesty decree, and no one can prove that the Taliban have breached this order.
Tarz Press – Sirajuddin Haqqani made these remarks on Friday, August 10, in Paktia, stating that during the three years of this regime's rule, many hostilities between ethnic groups have turned into friendships. He added, "No one can prove that the Taliban have brought anyone from the previous regime, executed, or killed them. Even in personal legal matters, the courts have delayed their cases."
This statement comes amid ongoing concerns from human rights organizations, which have frequently expressed fears that the Taliban have disregarded Hibatullah's decree, with reports of former government soldiers disappearing in Afghanistan on the rise.
