French and Saudi Leaders Warn of Consequences of Escalating Tensions in the Region

In a recent phone call, the leaders of France and Saudi Arabia warned about the consequences of escalating tensions in the region, stating that increased conflict benefits no one.
According to Tarz Press, the phone call was initiated by French President Emmanuel Macron with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The Élysée Palace reported that during this call, both leaders discussed their concerns over escalating tensions in the region and urged all parties to exercise restraint. In a statement released by the Élysée Palace, it was mentioned that the Saudi Crown Prince, referring to recent developments in the region, warned of the consequences of provocative actions and statements, emphasizing that chaos in the region serves no one's interests.
Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron also reported on X about his phone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, stating that they discussed the situation in the Middle East. Macron added in this thread that "we urge all parties to act responsibly and show restraint to prevent the flames of war from spreading in the region."
This warning comes as the United States has reported an imminent Iranian attack on Israel, stating that it has deployed additional forces and fighter jets in the region to better manage the situation and is fully prepared for various military scenarios.
