Amid rising concerns about the potential for a larger-scale conflict in the region, Washington has announced that it is prepared for any scenario to reduce and manage potential tensions.
Tarz Press – According to Reuters, John Finer, Deputy National Security Advisor at the White House, stated that the U.S. is preparing for various scenarios to manage and prevent tensions. Reuters quoted John Finer, who, referring to the April attack by Israel on Iran's consulate in Damascus, which resulted in a retaliatory missile strike by Iran on Israel, said that such a military attack could happen again at this time.
John Finer mentioned that the U.S.'s military movements in the Middle East are aimed at "preventing and managing tensions" in the region. In recent days, Washington has deployed more military forces, including fighter jets and warships, to the region, stating that the goal is to prevent potential attacks and broader conflicts in the area. Concerns about the possibility of a full-scale war in the region have intensified following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas' political bureau, in Tehran. Although this assassination is attributed to Israel, Israel has not yet claimed responsibility.
