Ayman Safadi, the Jordanian Foreign Minister, made an unexpected trip to Tehran and spoke with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to try and change Tehran's stance on actions against Israel. However, Pezeshkian stated that "Israel's audacity will not go unanswered."

Tarz Press – This unprecedented visit by Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi follows the diplomatic efforts of the United States to prevent a full-scale conflict in the region. During the meeting with Ayman Safadi, Pezeshkian called the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh a "grave mistake" by Israel and said that "Israel's audacity will not go unanswered." American media reported that these diplomatic efforts have not yet yielded the desired result, and Tehran is not backing down from its stance.
Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron and Jordanian King Abdullah II expressed their concern over the escalation of war in the Middle East during a phone call, urging both sides to remain calm. Concerns about the spread of conflict in the region have increased following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas' political bureau, in Tehran, after which the Iranian government threatened retaliatory action. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, clearly threatened today that Iran's response will be "decisive and intelligent" and will make Israel and its supporters regret their actions.
On the other hand, Washington has deployed military forces and high-speed fighter jets to the region to prevent a potential turmoil, according to its statements.
