The Iranian Human Rights Organization has announced that at least 300 people have been executed in Iran over the past seven months, including 20 Afghans.

Tarz Press - The Iranian Human Rights Organization reported on Saturday that among those executed were 42 Baloch, 20 Kurds, and 15 women. According to the organization's information, there are currently 800,000 Afghans imprisoned in Iran for drug trafficking and other offenses, but it is still unclear how many of these Afghans have been sentenced to death.
Two weeks ago, two Afghans were secretly executed in Iran on charges related to drug trafficking, and their families in Afghanistan were not informed. According to the Iranian Human Rights Organization, 49 people were executed in the past month, and 36 people were executed in the last 11 days of July. The organization has expressed concern over the increasing number of executions and stated that this trend must be stopped. The Iranian Human Rights Organization has also called on the international community to apply severe pressure and sanctions on the Iranian government to halt the use of the death penalty.
