Pakistan's Dawn newspaper reported that police have arrested and jailed two senior members of Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party.
According to Tarz Press, the lawyer for Imran Khan stated that police raided PTI's headquarters, arresting two key members. Dawn did not specify their identities. This follows a recent announcement by Pakistan's Ministry of Information and Culture to ban PTI activities due to last year's attack on military installations. Imran Khan, along with former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and another senior party member, remains imprisoned.
