The Russian government announced that the Kyiv regime, with Western support, plotted to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, made these claims on Thursday, July 18, stating, "Kyrylo Budanov, head of Ukrainian military intelligence, admitted in an interview with a Ukrainian media outlet to unsuccessful attempts to assassinate the Russian president." Zakharova emphasized that such crimes were directly planned and financed by Kyiv's Western supporters, implicating the West, particularly Washington, in this criminal conspiracy. Western nations, including the U.S., have not yet responded to these allegations.
