The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the Taliban's deputy ambassador concerning the recent deadly attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Tarz Press, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan issued a statement requesting the Taliban to take action against the militants responsible for this week's attack on a military base in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. On Monday, armed assailants carried out a suicide bombing using an explosive-laden vehicle at the Bannu military base in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Pakistani Army's public relations office reported that eight Pakistani soldiers were killed in the attack. The Pakistani Taliban group "TTP," led by Hafiz Gul Bahadur, claimed responsibility for the attack. Pakistan has consistently alleged that this group plans attacks on Pakistani soil from Afghanistan. The Taliban have repeatedly denied these claims, stating that Afghan territory is not used for attacks against other countries.
