This skeleton, discovered in May 2022 in Colorado, USA, is considered the most complete Stegosaurus skeleton ever found.
According to Tarz Press, at least 79 percent of the bones were excavated intact and assembled. The 161-million-year-old dinosaur bones will be auctioned at Sotheby's New York next week. Cassandra Hatton, head of the Science and Popular Culture department at Sotheby's, stated that the dinosaur is 3.3 meters tall and about 8.2 meters long from tail to snout. Stegosaurus is an armored dinosaur that lived in the Late Jurassic period in present-day western North America.
