Kunduz – Tarz Press: The ISIS group has claimed responsibility for yesterday’s suicide bombing in Kunduz province, which took place outside the Kabul Bank branch and targeted Taliban forces.

According to an ISIS statement, the suicide bomber managed to detonate himself among Taliban members, resulting in dozens of casualties. However, Taliban officials have reported five deaths and seven injuries. Meanwhile, sources from the Kunduz Provincial Hospital stated that the attack resulted in 25 deaths and 30 injuries. Among the victims, in addition to Taliban members, there were also civilians, including a professor from Kunduz University.

This attack comes amid rising concerns over ISIS activities in Afghanistan and the region. During a recent UN Security Council meeting, the threats posed by ISIS in Afghanistan and Central Asia were emphasized, with the group continuing to be recognized as a serious threat to regional and global security.
