Computer systems in German airports have experienced technical disruptions. This news was confirmed by a spokesperson for one of the police departments to the newspaper ''BILD.''
According to BILD, citing a spokesperson for the country’s police, the systems used by officers to monitor passenger entry and exit have been affected by this disruption. The Federal Police spokesperson stationed at Frankfurt Airport told BILD, "Our colleagues are now manually handling many of the processes that were previously done by the system, but so far, we have managed to control the situation."
The media outlet WDR also reported that long queues have formed at the security section of Düsseldorf Airport, with some passengers waiting for more than two hours. The cause of this disruption remains unknown.
