Tarz Press: In a joint statement, China and Pakistan have called on the Taliban to adopt a moderate policy in Afghanistan.

This request was made in a joint statement by Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Tuesday. The statement, released by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, urged the Taliban to ensure that Afghan soil is not used against neighboring and regional countries.

The two prime ministers also committed to working together for Afghanistan’s sustainable development and for integrating the Taliban-controlled country into the international community.

This comes amid increasing insecurity in Pakistan, where Chinese nationals have been targeted multiple times. Pakistan claims that militant groups, including the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), are planning their operations from Afghan soil. However, the Taliban have consistently denied these allegations, assuring that Afghan territory will not be used against any country.
