Tarz Press: The Taliban have urged Afghan refugees to refrain from participating in protests held in Pakistan and to maintain their neutrality.

A cultural attaché of the Taliban in Islamabad stated that some Afghan refugees are unable to remain neutral due to “false sentiments.” The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation of the Taliban also announced on Sunday that the cultural attaché raised this issue during a meeting with a group of Afghans in Islamabad.

This comes after reports surfaced about the participation of Afghan refugees in a protest led by Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party in Islamabad.

Four days ago, Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, claimed that 120 Afghan refugees were arrested for participating in the protest; however, PTI denied the involvement of Afghan refugees in their demonstrations.
