Tarz Press: NBC News, citing U.S. officials, reported that Israel has identified specific targets for a potential strike on Iran.
According to these American officials, Israel’s “retaliatory” strike would focus on Iran’s military infrastructure and energy facilities. Previously, Israeli officials had indicated that Iran’s nuclear sites were at the top of their military agenda; however, the U.S. official told NBC that there is no indication yet of an Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear centers.
NBC further reported, quoting anonymous U.S. officials, that Israel has shared only limited information with Washington regarding its potential response to Iran, and full details of Israel’s attack plan are still unavailable.
This follows a recent report by Axios stating that U.S. President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have agreed on a retaliatory strike against Iran. Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi recently responded to the looming Israeli attack, stating that the Islamic Republic is not afraid of a strike but does not seek war.
