Tarz Press: U.S. President Joe Biden has called the killing of Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Hezbollah, an action aimed at bringing justice.
In a statement on Saturday, September 28, Biden said that Nasrallah had caused the deaths of thousands of Americans, Israelis, and Lebanese citizens, and now justice has been served. Biden reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to supporting Israel against any Iran-backed terrorist group.
He added that, to prevent potential attacks by Iranian-supported groups, he has directed the Pentagon to strengthen the defensive posture of U.S. military forces in the Middle East. Biden concluded by emphasizing that the overall goal of the U.S. is to reduce the ongoing conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon through diplomatic efforts.
