Tarz Press: U.S. President Joe Biden described the decision to withdraw American forces from Afghanistan as a hard one but "the right" decision.

Biden made these remarks on Tuesday, September 24, during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly. He once again defended his position on the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan, stating that it was the best decision to end the longest war in U.S. history in Afghanistan. In his speech, Biden said, "Afghanistan had replaced Vietnam as America’s longest war. I was determined to end it, and I did."

He described the decision to withdraw from Afghanistan as "a hard decision" and noted that four U.S. presidents had faced this "hard" decision, but he was determined not to pass this decision to a fifth president. The U.S. president also paid tribute to the nearly 3,000 American military personnel who lost their lives in the Afghan war.
