Tars Press - The Taliban have condemned Israel's deadly attacks in Lebanon, stating that the failure to respond in time to Tel Aviv's actions in Gaza has now allowed Israel to threaten the security of the entire region.
Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, the Deputy Spokesman of the Taliban's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote on Tuesday, September 24, on his X account that the international community should take swift action to halt Israel’s attacks. The statement expressed strong condemnation of Israel's recent attacks on Lebanon, noting that hundreds, including children and women, had been killed.
The Taliban emphasized that the lack of timely response to what they called genocide by the Israeli regime in Gaza had escalated the situation, putting regional security at risk. They called on the international community to stop Israel’s actions in Lebanon and Gaza, highlighting the need to ensure civilian safety.
This comes as yesterday’s deadly attacks by Israel in Lebanon resulted in the deaths of 492 people, including 35 children and 58 women. Lebanon's Ministry of Health reported that more than 1,600 others were injured.
