Following reports of Israel's intelligence network allegedly infiltrating a Taiwanese company believed to be the manufacturer of pagers used in Lebanon, the Taiwanese government now claims there was no information exchange with Israel regarding the production of these devices.

Tarz Press – Wellington Koo, Taiwan's Defense Minister, stated on Thursday, September 19, in response to a question on the matter, that Taiwan had not shared any prior information with Israel concerning the production of these pagers. The defense minister also added that Taiwanese security agencies are closely investigating the issue and will need more time to complete their inquiries.

The incident revolves around exploded pagers in Lebanon that have markings suggesting they are part of a model known as the Rugged Pager AR-924. However, Gold Apollo, the Taiwanese manufacturer of these pagers, has stated that despite the company’s logo being present on the devices, it cannot confirm if they were produced by the company.
