The Taliban judiciary announced that two women and a man were flogged in public in Faryab province on charges of fleeing home and engaging in sexual relations.
Tarz Press - On Tuesday, September 17, the Taliban judiciary published a statement saying that the two women were each flogged 29 and 39 times, respectively, while the man received 39 lashes and was also sentenced to imprisonment.
The statement from the Taliban judiciary mentioned that these individuals were publicly flogged in the districts of Shirin Tagab and Pashtun Kot in Faryab province, with people present to witness the punishment.
