The Taliban have called yesterday's ISIS attack on the residents of Daikundi province "brutal" and stated that they will make serious efforts to find the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
Tarz Press—Zabihullah Mujahid, the chief spokesperson for the Taliban, wrote on his X account on Friday, September 14: "The Taliban consider the protection of the people's lives and property as their obligation." He added, "We are making serious efforts to search for the corrupt mischief-makers and hand them over to the hands of justice."
Following the deadly ISIS attack on the residents of Daikundi province, 14 people were killed and 6 others were injured. The attack has elicited widespread reactions, but the Taliban condemned it only after a full day had passed.
