The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has condemned yesterday's deadly Daesh attack on residents of Daikundi province and called for investigations to ensure accountability for those responsible.
Tarz Press - On Friday, September 13, UNAMA released a statement expressing condolences to the families of the victims and stating it calls for an investigation to hold those responsible accountable. UNAMA did not clarify whether the investigation is meant to examine the details of the Daesh attack or to hold the Taliban, as the current rulers of Afghanistan, accountable.
According to Tarz Press sources, the Daesh attack on residents of Daikundi province on Thursday resulted in 14 deaths and left four others injured. The attack has sparked strong reactions both domestically and internationally. Daesh claimed responsibility for the attack, and the Taliban condemned the attack as brutal after 24 hours.
