14 People Shot Dead in Daikundi

Local sources confirmed to Tarz Press that 14 people were killed and four others were injured following an attack by unidentified armed men in Daikundi province.

Tarz Press - This deadly attack took place today, Thursday, September 12, around 1 PM in the border areas between Daikundi and Ghor provinces, specifically in the "Qaryu Dal" Pass area. Sources told Tarz Press that the attackers were four in number and first forced the passengers of a minibus to disembark, checked their identities, and then shot them dead. 

The victims are reported to be residents of the "Joy Sardar" and "Qaryu Dal" villages in the Sangtakht and Bandar district of Daikundi province, who had traveled to the area to welcome pilgrims returning from Karbala.

According to Tarz Press sources, 14 people were killed, and four others were injured in the incident, with the condition of the injured reported to be critical.

So far, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the attack, and the Taliban have not commented on the incident.
