The European Union has announced that it is aware of Iran sending ballistic missiles to Russia and warned that severe sanctions will be imposed on Iran if these reports are confirmed.

Tarz Press - Reuters, on Monday, September 9, reported that Peter Stano, spokesperson for the European Union, stated that intelligence from EU member states indicates that Iran has sent ballistic missiles to Russia. Meanwhile, the Kremlin also reported on Monday that cooperation between Moscow and Tehran continues but did not comment on receiving ballistic missiles from Tehran. On the other hand, the U.S. State Department issued a statement warning that Iran's shipment of ballistic missiles to Russia would be considered an escalation of tensions.

However, Tehran, in an immediate response, stated that these reports are not true, and a senior official of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed that the dissemination of these reports is the start of a "psychological war" against the Iranian government.
