YouTube has recently released an improved version of its "Erase Song" tool, making it easier for content creators to remove copyrighted music from their videos.
According to Tarz Press, this tool uses artificial intelligence to remove copyrighted music without affecting other sounds in the video, such as dialogues or sound effects. The tool is set to be released in the coming weeks.
Neil Mohan, CEO of YouTube, announced on X that the Erase Song feature allows users to remove copyrighted music from their content. The beta version of this tool was previously released but did not perform accurately. The improved version of Erase Song now uses an "AI-based algorithm" to help identify and remove copyrighted songs without impacting other sounds.
