A day after Baloch separatists attacked the Jaffar Express train in Pakistan, the fate and identity of 200 passengers remain unknown, raising questions about who they were and where they are.
Reports from Pakistan suggest the government is concealing the identities of these 200 Jaffar Express passengers, with some sources speculating they may be Pakistani military personnel. According to information obtained by Tarz Press, 700 tickets were sold for the train, yet Pakistani authorities claim only 500 passengers were onboard.
Rahman Boneiri, a Voice of America reporter, posted a video on X questioning the discrepancy and accusing the Pakistani government of withholding sensitive details. The identities of the missing 200 remain unclear, though Baloch separatists claim they’ve taken numerous soldiers and government militia members hostage.
Meanwhile, Pakistani state media report that security forces have killed 27 attackers and rescued 155 passengers. However, the rest—including alleged military personnel—remain in the hands of armed Baloch separatists.
