سازمان حقوق بشر ایران اعلام کرد که در هفت ماه اخیر حد اقل ۳۰۰ تن در ایران اعدام شده اند و از این جمله ۲۰ نفر افغان هستند. طرز پرس - سازمان حقوق بشر ایران روز شنبه"۳ اگست" در گزارشی نوشت که ۴۲ نفر بلوچ، ۲۰ کرد و ۱۵ تن زنان نیز شامل اعدام شده‌گان در هفت ماه اخیر می‌شوند. بر بنیاد اطلاعات این سازمان، همین اکنون صدها هزار افغان به اتهام مواد مخدر و سایر تخلفات در محابس ایران زندانی هستند، اما تاهنوز روشن نیست که از این جمله چند نفر از افغانها به اعدام محکوم شده اند.
