The word "Tarz" means the shape and form of something and also translates to way, method, and rule. This word also evokes the honorable name of Mahmoud Tarzi, an Afghan journalist who, along with a group of pioneering Afghan intellectuals, founded Afghanistan's first newspaper in 1911. For this reason, he is often referred to as the "Father of Afghanistan's Press." However, it is necessary to clarify that Tarz Press is not affiliated with Mahmoud Tarzi or any of his family members.
