Tehran has announced that it reserves the right to respond to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, asserting that this right is legitimate, according to Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Tarz Press: Ali Bagheri Kani, the Acting Foreign Minister of Iran, made these remarks during a phone conversation with the Egyptian Foreign Minister, emphasizing that responding to the assassination of Haniyeh is Iran's legitimate right. The Iranian Foreign Ministry quoted Ali Bagheri Kani as saying, "Iran reserves its legitimate right to respond to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh." This comes as the United States and European countries are working to de-escalate tensions in the region, with the U.S. having previously conveyed warnings of the consequences of any attack on Israel to Tehran through intermediaries.
