
Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, emphasized the “critical and vital” nature of Iran’s relationship with Russia during a meeting with Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin. He stated, “We are firmly committed to this path.”
Highlighting the comprehensive strategic cooperation plan between Iran and Russia, Pezeshkian noted that it aims to strengthen ties in areas such as security, economy, culture, and trade. He added that the plan is in its final stages, with many agreements between the two nations’ ministers nearing completion and set to be signed soon.
Welcoming the expansion of bilateral relations, Putin affirmed that Russia considers Iran one of its most reliable partners in the region and expressed full readiness to further develop this partnership.
