The Israel Times, citing Israeli security sources, has reported that the Israeli Air Force is preparing for a potential strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

According to the report, recent regional developments, including the fall of the Bashar al-Assad government in Syria and the weakening of Iran’s proxy forces, have created a new opportunity for such an operation.

Israeli military officials believe that the diminished capabilities of Iran’s regional allies, such as Hezbollah in Lebanon and Iranian-backed militias in Syria and Iraq, have reduced the Islamic Republic’s ability to respond to potential attacks. These developments, coupled with international pressure on Iran over its nuclear program, have created conditions that, according to Israel, increase the likelihood of a successful strike on Iran’s nuclear sites.

Both U.S. and Israeli officials have previously stated that Iran’s nuclear program poses a serious threat to Israel and the West, presenting military action against Iran’s nuclear facilities as a viable option.
