Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Taliban's Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, claims that the Taliban have successfully ended the fifty-year war in Afghanistan, bringing prosperity and security to the country.

Tarz Press – Kabir made these remarks today, August 14, during a ceremony at Bagram Airfield commemorating the third anniversary of the Taliban's return to power in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Taliban's Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, stated at the same event that they have eradicated racial prejudice and ethnic, linguistic, and regional discrimination. Hanafi believes that the amnesty decree has fostered "brotherhood" among the people of Afghanistan. Today marks three years since the Taliban regained control and governance over Afghanistan, yet their government remains unrecognized by the international community. In conversations with Tarz Press, Afghan citizens have expressed that the primary issues under Taliban rule include economic poverty, lack of freedom of speech, restrictions on personal and human rights, and the ongoing limitations imposed on girls and women.
