Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Taliban's Foreign Minister, stated that if the West is genuinely concerned about terrorist safe havens in Afghanistan, they should reopen their embassies and monitor everything closely.
At a meeting evaluating the ministry's central departments, Muttaqi remarked that some groups are trying to overshadow the Taliban's achievements with their propaganda. He questioned the basis of recent Western accusations and emphasized that the West collects information from biased sources and enemies. He called this practice deeply unjust. Muttaqi reiterated that if countries are truly worried about terrorist groups, they should come and operate their embassies to observe the situation firsthand. Although the Taliban have held power in Afghanistan for about three years, no country has formally recognized their regime.
