Tarz Press- A senior Taliban military official has stated that if they win the hearts of the Afghan people, they will be able to govern effectively.
Fasihuddin Fitrat, the Taliban’s Chief of Staff, made these remarks on Sunday, September 22, during a gathering attended by other Taliban officials and military personnel in Kabul. The Chief of Staff said, "We must understand that if we win the hearts of the people, we can govern properly."
This comes amid widespread dissatisfaction in Afghanistan with the Taliban’s hardline policies, especially regarding women. The international community and neighboring countries have also refrained from engaging with the Taliban government for the same reasons. The Taliban government continues to face significant criticism, particularly for its lack of popular legitimacy.
