CBS News, citing a senior FBI official, reported the arrest of a suspect involved in an attempt to shoot former U.S. President Donald Trump. Investigations are currently underway.

Tarz Press- The senior FBI official told CBS that Secret Service officers spotted a person aiming a gun at Donald Trump. CNN also reported, based on its own sources, that Trump was approximately 300 meters away from the shooter. CBS, citing the FBI source, stated that Secret Service officers fired at the man and managed to arrest and disarm him as he attempted to flee the scene.

Donald Trump's campaign team, following the sound of gunfire near Trump's residence in Florida, announced that the former President was unharmed but provided no further details.

This is the second failed assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump since he announced his candidacy for the 2024 election. Remarkably, Trump has survived both attempts unscathed.
